JAIPUR: Rural development minister Ramesh Meena informed the Assembly on Friday that due to technical and other reasons, 9.22 lakh eligible families of the state have been left out from being included in the priority list under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

He said that the central government is being urged to upload these deprived families on Awas Plus.

He said that there was no negligence on the part of the officers and employees of the department in this matter.

Responding to a question, Meena said the ratio of central and state shares is 60 and 40 in PMAY. He said the target for 2023 has not yet been allocated by the Centre under this housing scheme.
